Bikes can be had for as little as $100NT a day from Monday to Friday, but of course rental fees are higher (yet still very reasonable) on weekends or for performance bikes.
If you are fit, and don’t mind cycling in the heat, renting a bike could be a good option for a day trip to Gaotai or Bunun Culture Park.
